Globally, chronic kidney disease is becoming as a significant public health issue. A new area of medical science, sometimes referred to as the physiology of the artificial kidney but linked to acute problems, was also formed by the development of haemodialysis into a chronic renal replacement therapy. Haemodialysis patients are susceptible to a variety of problems despite its therapeutic advantages. The purpose of this study is to look into the types and frequency of issues that haemodialysis patients face. 370 haemodialysis patients from two tertiary care hospitals participated in cross-sectional descriptive research. Medical record reviews and patient interviews were used to gather data. The study's findings showed that patient-related complications accounted for the largest percentage of all complications (62.9%), followed by headaches (25.3%), hypertension (24.5%), and hypotension (26.6%). 3.3% respondents facing complications related to vascular access and 4.2% respondents have technical complications. Improving patient care and results requires an understanding of these issues.
